Our First Vlog Entry: March Contest, Prizes, Shout-Outs

2015 is shaping up to be a busy year for the PhxGoth staff. A lot of wheels have been set in motion to elevate the site to the status of an essential online resource for the alternative underground. February signifies the kickoff of our Vlog, an idea that has been on the back burner for a long time now.

To make this development extra-special, our first vlog entry doubles as a brief background on the site and an announcement about our upcoming contest. Running through the end of March, this contest is a call to action for all of you to spread the word on PhxGoth to help raise awareness of all the going-ons in our scene here in Arizona. Like and share the the post on Facebook about the contest, and you will be entered into the raffle of potential winners.

The prizes for the winner? CDs and other merch from local bands Bella Lune, Hardwire, Ikonoklast, Blakopz, Amnestic, and The Audio Virus, as well as two tickets to the April Cupcake! Dance party. The prize for everyone is the opportunity to make the connections within the scene airtight and ensure that everyone with even the slightest interest in nefarious nightlife is fully aware of what is happening at all times. Enter the contest, and you will help us preserve and grow the Phoenix dark underground.

We would also like to give a special thanks to the bands that have contributed merchandise to help us run this contest the way it is meant to be run. The solutions for community enrichment devised by local artists is the backbone to any healthy society of culture, especially for a DIY scene like Goth. We have provided links to their sites, where you can find out more information about them and their music.
