One of my favourite things to do in a new city is visit the famous graves... Unfortunately, there are not many in Arizona (unless you're into cowboys). :P However, this page will list resources for the cemeteries that we do have.
Cemeteries in Maricopa County - This is a very complete list, and it includes links for additional information.
Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery Established in 1906. It is the oldest cemetery in Phoenix that is still open. And with cemeteries, I say "the older the better".

FindaGrave.com is an awesome site that I use anytime I travel to a new city. It has a search for celebrity graves by location, clame to fame, level of fame, etc. As I mentioned before, the listings in Phoenix are not very interesting. Nonetheless, it is here for your reference.
